In 2001, TL Marshall Company released the Crafter's Hot Knife to meet the needs of the hobby & craft markets. Since its premier, the Crafter's Hot Knife has been sold all over the world. 

 "The Crafter's Hot Knife brings a new dimension to the modeler's table for carving many types of foam. The knife makes plunge cuts into blocks and shapes possible. Bow cutters cannot make the plunge cuts. The most distinguishing difference of The Crafters Hot Knife is the rigid and solid, 6" Stainless Steel blade. It slices quickly and cleanly through high-density foam without bending, warping or breaking like common wire cutters.

A retro, easy grip, wooden handle beautifully accents the Stainless Steel blade. Temperature is controlled by the user with a "dead man's switch" that delivers the power up to 750 degrees fahrenheit temperatures.  This light/medium duty tool will shut down to cool instead of burning out after 5-10 minutes of continual use.  The user can extend the operating time once familiar with the power switch operations.

heavy duty, PRO-1 Hot Knife.  This tool features a 5-1/2" Stainless Steel Blade and comes with a depth gauge/stand.  This single blade construction knife without detachable blades won't shut down to cool and offers three temperature settings.  Now available in 220/240 volt.
