High powered, 105 watts right in the handle. This is limited-time-use tool. Use for 5 minutes and then cool for 2-1/2 minutes. To avoid overheating and damaging the tool, depress the trigger for 15 seconds, then release the trigger for 15 seconds. The Original Hot Knife is limited-time-use tool. To avoid overheating and damaging the tool, use for
five minutes on and then rest for three minutes. Once heated to the proper cutting temperature, depress
the trigger for 15 seconds, then release the trigger for 15 seconds. Continue this cycle for a maximum of
5 minutes. Then let the tool rest for 2-1/2 minutes. Using the tool longer than 5 minutes at a time will cause
heat damage and is not covered by the warranty. Do not use a screwdriver to tighten the blade screws.

The PRO-1 Hot Knife has a duty cycle for 15 minutes prior to needing a 3 minute rest.
